Ennio Kitterlegnosky, born in 1980, has the look of someone who has spent half his time to resist and a hoarse voice that betrays an addiction to nicotine involuntary. Irreverent, profane, solitary, grow unmentionable vices and virtues alienating and dividing its space with a colony of bacteria, in a Swiss laboratory. Now with his debut collection of short stories Christmas Pulp, a work that seems like a regurgitation alcohol delusional memories of the homeless by profession, those who can kick ass smile of fate. This is Kitterlegnosky, a man who despite tough experiences, chose to swallow life, without a break.

pulp making of Christmas?
By chance, in fact, between 2006 and 2007, I found myself, to love, to live in Germany. Then I felt alone and misunderstood, then I started to write, describing people and places that might distract, entertain me, populating my sleepless nights and my dark places.

Before you wrote the other?
Yes, but nothing I considered publishable. Christmas pulp came after a few attempts ended up in the trash.

Your characters arise from observation of reality or fantasy?
On both, for some players I was inspired by reality, but I chose to distort, I focused on the latest, the outcast never defeated because I feel that I look like. Many times I felt left out during the experience in Germany, I lived a bit 'like a stranger. For other characters but I was inspired by the stories and battered spirits of Charles Bukowski and Pedro Juan Gutierrez.

What kind of atmosphere you choose to set your stories?
I like the wastelands between Texas and Mexico, but some stories take place in the small Italian countryside, I lived in the hills of 'Umbria, Rome, I know the big cities and remote places, I love the mix of opposites.

What are your places of writing?
In my room at night, in total silence or listening to instrumental music. The singing disturbs me. But I also happened to write in a bar, between items and colors, throwing down a full story on the notebook.

Write or prepare to cast the narrative structure in every detail?
Sometimes I start with a phrase and the story writes itself, as in the Nibelung story, in other cases the process is more rational and less immediate and requires more time, more reflection.

You inspired a few films for your stories?
I love Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez, use atmosphere that somehow evoke those movies, those places, those characters extreme over the top.

Now you're writing?
Yes, a novel. For some people Christmas pulp can not tear myself away so that in the history looks back story, telling what has happened before, describing the background, which is slightly suggested in the stories in the book is explained in detail.

Any advice for emerging authors?
insist, write, do not give up, but most send their work in a focused manner, in publishing right for that style, for that rhythm.

incursion into your private life ... First in Germany, now in Switzerland, why?
For a woman, in both cases.

Sureno Are Allied With People Nation

Chester Himes

"Chester Himes, THE WRITER BLACK REBEL AGAINST AMERICA racist," James Sallis - FRIDAY THE 'REPUBLIC OF

Today "on Friday of the Republic" published a fantastic article by four pages dedicated to Chester Himes. A write is James Sallis. As if to say, a myth that writing about another myth. Especially if your readings are noir, especially if not disdain the social commitment, attention to the issue of race, rage and savage rhythm of an author who was the first writer of color of crime fiction. One who elects to master Walter Mosley. When a fair and independent publisher Meridiano Zero reached a result like this, it is clear that he does through a joint effort. Among the first people to thank, we can not mention Luca Conti, prince of translators, which this year has already put a farm in the Italian version of Elmore Leonard's Killshot, beneath a crimson sky of Joe R. RUN MAN RUN Lansdale and Chester Himes. Need I say more? I think not. Except perhaps the fact I never tire of saying, is that people like him that we have the privilege to read in Italian the best black fiction in recent years. BOOKS ALONE does not translate. And thanks to ATTILIO GIORDANO and LARA CRIN ' for believing in the pure talent of Himes giving ample space on the pages of FRIDAY' and Marco Vicentini for having decided to take the burden and honor to republish Himes in ITALY.
Now, dear readers, we are in your hands, and looted the libraries buy copies of the book by Himes. RUN MAN RUN. Why
discover a great writer, an author who has the same intensity as William Faulkner and Erskine Caldwell, the lyricism of Flannery O 'CONNOR, the same pace of James Ellroy and the same cruel and violent fiction of Cormac McCarthy's office.

Legget FRIDAY '

Take the book and let us know what you think. We wait for tomorrow in LA TABLE. The

How Long After Probate Is Granted Does It Take

ACWeisbecker is given to the cinema ...

In pictures: Weisbecker in action on the table.

Dear:
many have asked me something about AC Weisbecker, who he is, what it does, if he wrote another, after the splendid Cosmic Bandidos.
This was the first book that I translated and published for the zero meridian, between frenzied adventure drug traffickers, escapes, assaults, with characters so nicely ramshackle and a comedy so overwhelming that I swear to you, translates it until I found myself constantly laughing as if I read it for the first time.
Weisbecker at the time of the first edition was not generous with information about himself on his biography, and so I dutifully followed the instructions, saying: "We do not know much about AC and AC Weisbecker Weisbecker prefer that it stays that way."
But then he started to let some information filter, has opened a website where it shows his passion for surfing and has written two other books. Nothing like a Cosmic Bandidos , unfortunately. There are two autobiographical books, one of which is implied by the title Can not You Get Along With Anyone? probably the unpredictability and madness of the characters Cosmic Bandidos may 'have been modeled on the author ...

But after that what he did? And what are you doing?
I received from him this morning a small video clip with the answer: he shot a fim. And already they will be cheering for those hoping for a crazy story, explosive, well '... remember that his passion is surfing, and so for now it is dedicated to this ...
A film created by the mind that gave birth Cosmic Bandidos is really something that I waited a long time ... and share with you the film clip ACWeisbecker: http://vimeo.com/5417617

Best wishes

Marco Vicentini

PS How? You did not read them all? But it is the ideal book for the holidays! Well, to all orders received by email from tomorrow until July 9 to July 16, which is included in order Cosmic Bandidos, we will discount 50%.
And, if you can affect the advice of the editor, another book that made me go crazy with laughter was The Lord of earthworms Jack Allen. Be Warned! If Weisbecker there seemed crazy, well '... that's nothing compared to Jack Allen!
