When Are Davids Bridal Sales

PARMA FOR EVER!

So here we are, my dear readers Meridiano Zero. Is coming out these days in a fantastic book libraries, agile, with a cover that will plunder the eyes and a story that looks like a modern Cloven Viscount in Wonderland by Carroll. A novel soft, tattered, surreal, beautifully written. The author is

ENRICO Unterholzner engineer - Mad Hatter which depicts the incredible adventure in the pages of Parma, the protagonist, in spite of a series of events such as the high-sounding CORRIDOR the Scour and PENZOLASOLDATO . I can not really say anything beyond that, I would not spoil the pleasure of reading that is very enjoyable. A book that you can drink in one gulp and that blends beautifully fantasy and reality. Between fairy tale and everyday Gambusia OF THE POND - the title - entertains and captivates, engages and wins.
A gem to be discovered.

Dear,

as usual trips on Wednesday, November 4 dinner Meridiano Zero. There are many reasons for satisfaction recently. The output of Pozzoromolo Luigi Carrino , the enthusiastic response of the press and public Tanatoparty that this month brings Laura Liberal (combat queen of the literature) in the pages of XL The Wild Bunch and a sarabande with presentations in the flesh, and last but not least, increasing the wait for the debut of Henry Unterholzner .
With all this fever and salt to treat the early symptoms of the gang MERIDIAN ZERO take refuge in that of the Bistrot LA TABLE to shoot ideas and words in complete freedom well into the night. Ready to squirt a thousand cholesterol to water and livers with alcoholic and non-alcoholic nectar Pablo "the Chef" Rolle please aficionados and admirers to send the membership for dinner Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 20:00 at the Bistro The Table of Padua Via Tiziano Aspetti 7. Dear,

Aff VS. m back on these pages telematics to remind you that tomorrow will be the new library, a wonderful, touching book by. Before leaving the fourth
say a few words to say what I felt reading it.
Pozzoromolo is not a book like the others. Pozzoromolo is imbued with poetry, tragedy, is a poignant and intimate confession. Pozzoromolo I'll have to conquer a page after page. Pozzoromolo novel is a hard, some parts will come in the belly like a hornet's nest. Pozzoromolo is a punch, beads of sparkling gems encrusted with blood clots. Pozzoromolo is a cry, long, desperate, ripping the paper.
Pozzoromolo is not a book for everyone, but if the law leaves no more.

Here this is what comes to mind to describe it.

So noiristi are warned. I would add that at least for a drink after the presentation will be at Bistrot La Table the legendary Giulio Mozzi , but chances are good that it stays for dinner. In short, a true Liberal parterre de roi with Laura to make a queen.

So to her, the Divine, and Marianna, the Your Aff.mo gave the word,

INTERVIEW

Laura Liberal, poet, musician, Indology, moves with elegance in our world aseptic irreverent, terrified by the imperfections of the disease. "Women stateless and without God" as he likes to be called, is hiding in the garage eating metropolitan plexiglass while tickling the thought that in her pulses like black blood alive. He began to sneer now Tanatoparty a common sense of decency that shit Zero brings in bookstores in September.
writer, musician, scientist, poet, who is Laura Liberal?
"All this and a little more. I play bass since I was nineteen years old, at that time I had a group of four musicians, we used to call L'Ecole maternelle, was never more propitious name for a short time, my partner became more of a mother ... Now I'm part of a group of writers with a passion for music, the sound is still low, with Heman Zed, my husband, Umberto Casadei, author of The suicide of Angela B and Roberto Vannucchi Barani, a former Blumercado. We play garage rock, gothic, new wave, punk, and then cover of Joy Division, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Bauhaus
From music to writing, Tanatoparty is difficult and provocative, and destroys many taboos, what is its genesis?
"The book raises from the mourning of my father, who died in 2004, although some issues have always fascinated me gothic, I love Lovecraft and Poe. This suffering has allowed me to question how long on our postmodern society faces, or should I say, rejects the death. I understood from the observation that we live in a state of permanent removal of our mortality on the one hand, and habituation to virtual death, television, coated on the other. Death show has undermined the private dimension of pain becoming pure fiction, and so the end of life has become a taboo stuff of psychotropic drugs. "
experience personal pain, as you have faced?
"writing, studying, listen, looking for dates, meaning, the hidden meaning of events. My father taught me something invaluable, taught me to die, he taught me the power that is even in death. Tanatoparty This is a book that has had a long gestation, in which I explored the universe of women's fertile and destructive goddess Kali, the self-destructive to the suicide of poet Anne Sexton. Where I played the stripping of the word. Un'affabulatrice but I'm not a woman who generates suggestions "
And now?
"The circle closed. I introduced myself to the Prime Meridian with a collection of short stories in 2003, I had accompanied my own father. Something Tanatoparty s'intravide even then, but the dirty work, hard, filing, creation, continuity needed more time. Today I am starting a new book, a novel in which I allow myself the freedom to finally be lighter. It ended my Plutonian stage and I am reborn "

Ennio Kitterlegnosky, born in 1980, has the look of someone who has spent half his time to resist and a hoarse voice that betrays an addiction to nicotine involuntary. Irreverent, profane, solitary, grow unmentionable vices and virtues alienating and dividing its space with a colony of bacteria, in a Swiss laboratory. Now with his debut collection of short stories Christmas Pulp, a work that seems like a regurgitation alcohol delusional memories of the homeless by profession, those who can kick ass smile of fate. This is Kitterlegnosky, a man who despite tough experiences, chose to swallow life, without a break.

pulp making of Christmas?
By chance, in fact, between 2006 and 2007, I found myself, to love, to live in Germany. Then I felt alone and misunderstood, then I started to write, describing people and places that might distract, entertain me, populating my sleepless nights and my dark places.

Before you wrote the other?
Yes, but nothing I considered publishable. Christmas pulp came after a few attempts ended up in the trash.

Your characters arise from observation of reality or fantasy?
On both, for some players I was inspired by reality, but I chose to distort, I focused on the latest, the outcast never defeated because I feel that I look like. Many times I felt left out during the experience in Germany, I lived a bit 'like a stranger. For other characters but I was inspired by the stories and battered spirits of Charles Bukowski and Pedro Juan Gutierrez.

What kind of atmosphere you choose to set your stories?
I like the wastelands between Texas and Mexico, but some stories take place in the small Italian countryside, I lived in the hills of 'Umbria, Rome, I know the big cities and remote places, I love the mix of opposites.

What are your places of writing?
In my room at night, in total silence or listening to instrumental music. The singing disturbs me. But I also happened to write in a bar, between items and colors, throwing down a full story on the notebook.

Write or prepare to cast the narrative structure in every detail?
Sometimes I start with a phrase and the story writes itself, as in the Nibelung story, in other cases the process is more rational and less immediate and requires more time, more reflection.

You inspired a few films for your stories?
I love Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez, use atmosphere that somehow evoke those movies, those places, those characters extreme over the top.

Now you're writing?
Yes, a novel. For some people Christmas pulp can not tear myself away so that in the history looks back story, telling what has happened before, describing the background, which is slightly suggested in the stories in the book is explained in detail.

Any advice for emerging authors?
insist, write, do not give up, but most send their work in a focused manner, in publishing right for that style, for that rhythm.

incursion into your private life ... First in Germany, now in Switzerland, why?
For a woman, in both cases.

"Chester Himes, THE WRITER BLACK REBEL AGAINST AMERICA racist," James Sallis - FRIDAY THE 'REPUBLIC OF

Today "on Friday of the Republic" published a fantastic article by four pages dedicated to Chester Himes. A write is James Sallis. As if to say, a myth that writing about another myth. Especially if your readings are noir, especially if not disdain the social commitment, attention to the issue of race, rage and savage rhythm of an author who was the first writer of color of crime fiction. One who elects to master Walter Mosley. When a fair and independent publisher Meridiano Zero reached a result like this, it is clear that he does through a joint effort. Among the first people to thank, we can not mention Luca Conti, prince of translators, which this year has already put a farm in the Italian version of Elmore Leonard's Killshot, beneath a crimson sky of Joe R. RUN MAN RUN Lansdale and Chester Himes. Need I say more? I think not. Except perhaps the fact I never tire of saying, is that people like him that we have the privilege to read in Italian the best black fiction in recent years. BOOKS ALONE does not translate. And thanks to ATTILIO GIORDANO and LARA CRIN ' for believing in the pure talent of Himes giving ample space on the pages of FRIDAY' and Marco Vicentini for having decided to take the burden and honor to republish Himes in ITALY.
Now, dear readers, we are in your hands, and looted the libraries buy copies of the book by Himes. RUN MAN RUN. Why
discover a great writer, an author who has the same intensity as William Faulkner and Erskine Caldwell, the lyricism of Flannery O 'CONNOR, the same pace of James Ellroy and the same cruel and violent fiction of Cormac McCarthy's office.

How Long After Probate Is Granted Does It Take

ACWeisbecker is given to the cinema ...

In pictures: Weisbecker in action on the table.

Dear:
many have asked me something about AC Weisbecker, who he is, what it does, if he wrote another, after the splendid Cosmic Bandidos.
This was the first book that I translated and published for the zero meridian, between frenzied adventure drug traffickers, escapes, assaults, with characters so nicely ramshackle and a comedy so overwhelming that I swear to you, translates it until I found myself constantly laughing as if I read it for the first time.
Weisbecker at the time of the first edition was not generous with information about himself on his biography, and so I dutifully followed the instructions, saying: "We do not know much about AC and AC Weisbecker Weisbecker prefer that it stays that way."
But then he started to let some information filter, has opened a website where it shows his passion for surfing and has written two other books. Nothing like a Cosmic Bandidos , unfortunately. There are two autobiographical books, one of which is implied by the title Can not You Get Along With Anyone? probably the unpredictability and madness of the characters Cosmic Bandidos may 'have been modeled on the author ...

But after that what he did? And what are you doing?
I received from him this morning a small video clip with the answer: he shot a fim. And already they will be cheering for those hoping for a crazy story, explosive, well '... remember that his passion is surfing, and so for now it is dedicated to this ...
A film created by the mind that gave birth Cosmic Bandidos is really something that I waited a long time ... and share with you the film clip ACWeisbecker: http://vimeo.com/5417617

Best wishes

Marco Vicentini

PS How? You did not read them all? But it is the ideal book for the holidays! Well, to all orders received by email from tomorrow until July 9 to July 16, which is included in order Cosmic Bandidos, we will discount 50%.
And, if you can affect the advice of the editor, another book that made me go crazy with laughter was The Lord of earthworms Jack Allen. Be Warned! If Weisbecker there seemed crazy, well '... that's nothing compared to Jack Allen!

The Eyes Are Too Close Together

MZ: IMPRESSIONS OF A DINNER

A wonderful dinner to Wednesday evening. Catapulted to the Bistrot "La Table" - good quality food, wine rouge to go go with Nardini closing of course - I enjoyed it as' na beast in scapicollarmi from table to table taking cues from each person and ideas for pirate eh eh. .. For example, I realized that I do not know one iota of noir as I had to do with a triumvirate of professionals - Walter Giordani, Nicola Berti, Fabrizio Canella - that have opened horizons phenomenal ... what is it called the author of Calumet City? If you do not you write down on a notebook, you're nobody ... or making me a culture of electronic music with Fabio Fracas (Stockhausen on everything but Fat Boy Slim can tell her ... but that is electronic pop). And then "the fucking pigeons" which Zappa Henry Unterholzner deep admirer of the guitarist in question, the inspiration for a photo exhibition and the fabulous Laura Liberal glasses, stuff that not even a professional killer. Chiara Baldini that I made two stupid questions of the evening I responded with a torrent of words, even if the written dries all chimichizzando prose, and Gottesman and Silvia Elena De Gasperi couple assault, which may disperses Forum editorial policy until the small hours and recommend optimal solutions to transform your home library without choking amid the pages ... but will not tell you how because there is a copyright to be respected. And then Carlo Callegari, sugarguy Codevigo, just back from Barcelona and then Heman Zed and then ... and then all the others who have spoken generously and for reasons of time (only 4 have available) I got to know better .
Well for me it was a blast, no predetermined lines, lots of chatter, challenges last noir, and words to go go with a good wine and beautiful people around the players, professionals. I would like for me, go on like this proposing the end of September, I think that the Big Chief and Marco Vicentini Silvia Vale and they agree with me.
I wait to know the Vs Impressions: Tell me I recommend here on the blog.
So we wait and find again in September to talk about, maybe then we can make a theme or maybe not ... who knows. "Have fun" ... a good summer and thanks to everyone for coming and remember that the zero meridian is a publishing house that grows with authors and readers, our energy.

ENNIO KITTERLEGNOSKY: WRITING FROM THE DRUG MESCALINA

ENNIO KITTERLEGNOSKY: THE NEW CHALLENGE OF MERIDIAN ZERO!

ATTACK

"We're running as two desperate.
I'm going to regurgitate the heart. My uncle Jeremiah
holds Baby Jesus close to himself and yelling that de-vo
looking back. My feet are going to fire.
The road that connects to the Corso dei Mille
State is a steep descent of white breccia.
My uncle Jeremiah is convinced that it is a sliding-
ciatoia. To expect with the engine running for a Fiat Palio diesel is
Ghino Sbrenna. According
Ghino we nibbled precious minute-
you through the escarpment
Vicolo San Barnaba. But he is a poor retarded. Once the
pecked while
fucked a goat. Locked him up in jail, then in a ma-
NICOM, then still in prison. Now is the new vo-
a free citizen. He started to look after the flock
, all day on the slopes of world-
tains. He returned from his lovers. "

A Kitterlegnosky do not like the Santa we all know, the one that arrives on Dec. 24, with the good-natured laugh, his cheeks ruddy and children on his lap. He prefers to imagine it in August, on a bench scraped, with tattered shorts, the body weighed down by old homeless man, and two daughters bags under the eyes of wild nights and alcohol. With a carton of wine in your hand tells you, between sips of wine, a crucifix in flames crammed coca and mothers seeking help with a knife in his hand. Better not to bring children.
Christmas pulp has only one real star: the loss of innocence. A collection of fun characters and grotesque, surreal and irreverent. Suspended in pure absence of guilt, fan barrage of unhinged comedy and compelling. His abrasive style burns like a smooth glass of tequila in one gulp her down.
fast and amazingly, the sure look Kitterlegnosky drag in trouble with no way out, the poor devils are ready to smash the race carts or kidnap baby Jesus, just to find a bit of luck. The comic side of

What Hapens When Paint Freezes

between comics and novels

Hombres de Meridiano Zero,

you tell me?

More and more authors, especially Americans, experience in parallel the language of comics and novels. What do you think? Above all, do you think is a mix that works? I think so, I am increasingly convinced that one of the things that can rejuvenate some formulas narrative, bringing new potential readers to books, is the crossover, intended as a soup, jam languages \u200b\u200band suggestions that can forge a style that is always immediate but no less complex, indeed. The comic is ultimately a very popular language. Just to take a recent example and noble, I think "The tigers of Mompracem" released on Lizard Rizzoli designed by Hugo Pratt and written by Mino Milani. The novel by Emilio Salgari comic ... not bad, but then we read the names of new authors writers rained American "bastards" who misrepresented continuously between novel and comic strip by the name of Joe R. Lansdale, who wrote novels drawn from characters in the comics - The long road to revenge (Edizioni BD) - and has scripted comics directly, the last is arriving Sandwiches featuring Conan the Barbarian. And what about Victor Gischler? Writer who has just become the regular series of Dead Pool for Marvel and has recently finished writing a series of stories for Wolverine and The Punisher? And Duane Swierczynski? Also working for Marvel at full capacity? (Cable and The Punisher, among others). But then there Gianfranco Manfredi, creator of one of the most beloved Italian comic as Magic Wind, which has just come out with the novel "I'm cold" by Gargoyle Books, and then Greg Rucka, Charlie Huston, Tiziano Sclavi ... But what
I was interested in bringing to light, so to speak in short, do not discover anything new, is that familiarity with the dialogue, the script, the obligation to write stories full of twists, weaving, changes in perspective and reversals in the face as required by the comic, these trains authors to write novels that have amazing stories and hyperkinetic.
Among other things, too often it seems to me, it tends to trivialize the effort that an author makes in constructing plot full of blind alleys, action scenes, syncopated dialogue, narrative elements as if they were discounted in the public domain, property of many.
I do not think so at all. Instead more and more I feel that all those authors and critics who disparage or criticize this kind of narrative, advocating the superiority of feeling, internalization, reflection, small things, the facts of each day, well I think they scontino atavistic inability to tell fascinating stories.
In this sense, the comic strip, with its fast-paced arena, to go go action and creation of atmosphere, I can make a vital contribution to the language of the novel.

351m Stock Horsepower

THE TOTAL TRANSLATION

The recent publication of "Under a crimson sky" by Joe Lansdale (Fanucci) and the upcoming "Run Man Run "by Chester Himes (Prime Meridian), both books translated by Luca Conti (very very active) provide an opportunity to the whole community of readers, I believe, a reflection of the importance of translators. One category that seems to me that too often is likely to be treated by many in the publishing market and information the same way as a tribe of faceless silent workers, workers of the assembly literature. Sure, you say, the translator still stands today, and thank goodness, on the first page of the book - but not on the cover - and yet too infrequently is properly cited the names of those who represent excellence in this field. Done! this rather strange especially when you consider that without Elio Vittorini, so as not naming names, there would have been wonderful translation of "God's Little Acre" by Erskine Caldwell, and not that of Eugenio Montale "To a God Unknown" by John Steinbeck. Sure, you say, Vittorini and Montale addition to translation also had a great reputation as a writer, eh ... eh, okay, so remember to Marisa Caramella - "Women" and "Ham on Rye" by Bukowski, "Tobacco Road" Caldwell, "Collected Stories" by Flannery O'Connor, among other things - Massimo Bocchiola and "his" Nick Hornby and Irvine Welsh, and maybe Luke Conti (Elmore Leonard, James Crumley, Joe R. Lansdale, James Sallis, Chester Himes are just some of the writers he translated) ... and we could go on like this for a while '.
So, speaking of the translators - today as yesterday - it is very important because, in addition to the publishing house, it is they that we have some of our best readings. And because law is often poorly done translations then it would be nice to read or listen to as frequently "in the beautiful translation ... ....."
With all this throws a stone into the pond and say, in your opinion, legendary players, it is our shared this feeling, or is the result of clouded mind of a crack in the odor of alcohol as that of Prime Meridian? What do you think? Get down! The

relations are time bombs but do not know when the detonator will explode and leave you breathless, even for a few days, months, a year that goes wrong!

Time heals all wounds, and incidentally we know that when you choose to live, the wounds are normally part of the journey.
Despite being aware of this truth, I can not help but note, for the umpteenth time, the absolute uncertainty of love as a couple, his fragile life, especially the inconsistency "of being in love" as ring union between two beings.

How to enter fully into the life of any individual, of which only a moment before they even knew of its existence, and hand over the keys to your heart?
LOVE is all but give themselves to another human being!

fall in love and every time I do not believe his lies are the same, repeating the same words, the same eyes, the same attention and petting them!
It 's time of great bitterness, adolescence is over and the wise understanding of life invites us to wake up!

One day of a lifetime ...

comes a day for each of us in which God reveals its presence, sometimes it does at other times like a spring breeze with an impetuous north!

In me is presented through a shock, a "thrill" much stronger and longer.

I knew a few months ago I would have had to work for my "tuvivi" and despite the optimism, my heart was troubled, and the burden that I carried inside me too heavy!

The Lord had prepared everything so that he could confide that I was next and that I should not be afraid of anything!
I prayed so hard that night, along with other brothers and sisters, dear friends that I mentioned in a previous post that although I had my eyes closed, I had clear visions, my soul at that moment we could see !

My faith was before then represented by a door ajar, closed, but not resting, I was standing on one side and God on the other.

In the vision I had, the door is wide open, Divine and I had nothing divides us and not just to have more doubts in the future, I saw the door that literally broke the hinges that held resting, blowing up the screws and then fly away, handing the vision of a light like that of my favorite sunsets that I communicated without using words, which had always been there ...
